About

GCSRA is organizing Vapi CSR Conclave on 21st November, 2017 at Meril Academy, Vapi with an aim to present the key findings of needs and capacity assessment at Vapi cluster. This contextual and bottom up conclave would also address the social gaps by providing a forum to discuss and debate on the issues pertaining to the CSR planning and implementation.

  • Presentation of key findings of needs and capacity assessment of corporates carried out by GCSRA team
  • Dedicated time and space for networking opportunities with 150+ delegates- industry leaders, policy makers, government agencies, NGOs, civil society, academics etc.
  • More than 30 sectoral experts with special focus on different thematic areas
  • Knowledge sharing sessions on vivid areas of CSR such as Policy development, strategy articulation and performance measurement & disclosure etc.

Objectives

  • To orient the participants towards Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013
  • Adopting constructive bottom-up approaches to discuss the best practices, current issues and development in CSR in the region as well as in the state
  • To strategize for enhancing CSR impact in the region, by sharing, discussing and ideating on how the stakeholders can collaborate
  • Discuss and share best practices for programme implementation and impact creation at regional level, through dissemination of state and national level experiences
